Finnish Crimson
Today’s Photo Friday theme is “Crimson,” so I started thinking about how commandeering a color red is. A splash of red in an outfit, a single red flower in a bouquet, a drop of red dye in a can of white paint…the red always seems to outshine everything else!
Which is why I love when similar shades of red work together. This picture is from a trip I took to Finland a few years ago. We had gone to visit my friend’s relatives, and while our lunch was being prepared, we spent a while outside in the garden taking pictures of their beautiful flowers.
Also, notice the faux Crocs in the background…Crocs just happen to be from my own hometown, Boulder Colorado!
